    Guys,

Just opening this thread to get as much information as possible regarding an overvolted vbios for the 3GB 560M into the G74SX. At the moment, the voltage is only set a 0.962v which of course prevent you a bit from pushing further the core and memory clocks, even though it can still go over 900mhz.

Some G53/73JW users have an overvolted vbios for their Asus GTX460M which pushes up their voltage to 1V rather than the 0.92V and the card is also soldered to the MOBO so I am sure we could have a 1V vbios for the GTX560M 3GB to get a more stable overclock !

If anyone has this vbios or has tried anything, let us know !

As our overclock is still limited by PSU , does vbios mod won't use even more power and still limit us as before ?

It will :) But I will try with my 220w PSU and then perhaps buy a new 180w's to help me getting full power out of the (small) beast

as a GTX 460M user :) yes after0.912V finally 0.962V has been achived and for sure stable clock increased from 800 to 850 min.
and later on 1V has been tested but unfortunately in didnt worked as expected :)
it was seen as 1V but actually it was not because there were 3 different voltage level and the 3rd one was 0.962, in the benchmarks 1V seen but result was same with 0.962 and no temperature increases also.

During that time only MSI notebooks had 4 different voltage level and last one was 1V I think but for the asus users no luck !!! for real 1V.

and 150W power supply unit, I already ordered 180W because once you overclock GPU and if you use throttle stop for sandbridge CPU increased power may be required once I will receive the 180W PSU I will also check different configurations and I can write then.

Seems like no one tried to push the default voltage (0.962v) to 1V... :(
