I have the G751JY, and I'm wondering if there is any way to set up 3D vision on an external monitor. The monitors I've been looking at say that they only support Nvidia 3d vision if using Dual Link DVI-D. However, the output for this laptop is VGA, HDMI, and mini displayport.
Would a mini displayport to Dual Link DVI-D converter work? Or, are there monitors out there that support 120Hz+ and 3d Vision over displayport?
Thanks for any help!

I haven't actually played a game yet, but HDMI 1.4 is fully 3D capable and I did throw in a 3D Bluray flick and tested it out briefly... it was actually the first time my TV was fed native 3D content vs OU/SBS sources. I am pretty sure there are all sorts of 3D monitors that take HDMI in for the 3D. Here is at least one example: ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms (GTG) HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD 3D Monitor Height&pivot adjustable 350 cd/m2 80,000,000:1 Built-in Speakers - Newegg.com

I looked at that monitor yesterday on Amazon, and saw the following caveat towards the bottom of the product specs:
"3D playback can only be activated via Dual-link DVI cable connection with a NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit sold separately."
However, the Newegg article seems to indicate that it is supported via Dual Link DVI-D as well as DisplayPort. Since the G751JY has DisplayPort (and it is routed through the Nvidia card) I think that monitor will work.
Thanks!
