    Asus ROG GL503 Manual Fan Control Profile

    Hello, as you all know, GL503 laptops are actually very loud during gaming. The fans spin so fast but they dont have. Many of us would give up a few degrees in exchange for a quieter environment.

    There is a software called "Notebook FanControl". It writes to the EC (Embedded Control) and it can change fan speed. But you need to setup a profile for it to work and there is no profile for GL503.

    So is anyone able to create a profile for GL503? Or do you know any other way to control the fans manually?

    It is spinning loudly because it has to.
    Place your hand on the speaker area in front of your laptop keyboard. When it's loud, it's because it doesn't have any other choice. It's really hot even when playing older games. However when the game is shut down it still continues to spin loudly for like 5 minutes or something. Not sure if that's intended.
