I was just using my G73 when all of a sudden the backlit keyboard lights just shut off. I didn't do anything with the BIOS and they were working 5 minutes ago. I was just wondering if any one has had a similar problem and knows of a fix. Thanks.

The driver must've crashed. Must have freaked you out though. Happened to me when i bought my laptop. But back then, it wasn't a driver crash. I had somehow dimmed the keyboard lights to minimum (switched it off) and dint know that i had done that or that dimming was possible in the first place. Lived without the light for 2 days consoling myself that i was just plain unlucky and couldn't do anything about it (couldn't RMA either cuz I'd brought it down to India) before i found out the solution. And boy. Was i so happy that day.
