Anyone who owns Asus G73 and Napoleon Total War can u please tell me how does it run and at what settings. It's killing my gateway p-7085u :( even after cpu upgrade and basically it's the only game i play. :)

Honestly, I dont own the G73, but I have no issues with it on my G72GX...none what so ever, maxed out everything (no AA).

The G73 will kill Napoleon...I mean, your talking a GPU thats roughly 3 times faster and a CPU thats 2x faster than anything you can get for the P-7085u...

So even though I dont have any specifics I would say that Napoleon should run without a single issue what so ever!

    The GPU upgrade from g72 to g73 (260m v.s. HD5870) isn't double XD

It's more like little over 20%

    It's actually more than double.

Even 260M SLI isn't equal to one HD5870. Do your research. HD5870 is 30% faster than GTX285, for reference.

Wait, does the 72 have GTS 260 or the GTX 260?

God damn Nvidia with this overclocking bull! Everyone needs to drop Nvidia until they get their together.

it has GTX260M which is better than GTS260M but still the 5870 in G73 trashes GTX260M.

The 5870 is nothing great nor is nothing bad GTX 260 made god knows how long ago can still hold its line against the new 5870M and the GTX260 can play crysis better and still hold green FPS marks in recent games.

I own the G72 from today bought from ebay for almost half the price of the G73.
