Hey so after a bit of reading through the forums I have noticed there are mixed reactions to the g73 having the turbo mode on or off. Some say o some say dont??

I was under the assumption that turbo means faster meaning better performance right??

I mainly use this computer for gaming, dirt 2, BF BC2, Crysis warhead, GTA.

Would having the turbo off make performance better with these tittles or better overall??

    Whats the deal?!

Please any feedback is much appreciated.

    Cheers.

You could test this yourself. Dirt2 has a built in benchmark test under graphics options, or you could run Fraps while you run your games and see if you get more frames with Turbo on or off.

Anything that can utilize all four cores to their full potential, you want turbo mode off. Click here for an example, as I don't feel like typing it again. :)
