I recently just bought my g73 week ago and I'm having a booting problem where it will boot up to the asus screen and just freeze or sit there so i have to reboot it and this happens every so often. Sometimes i will have to reboot it more then once.? HELP please.

That could be a wide variety of problems with software or hardware. If it s a consistent issue from day 1, I would recommend taking it back to the reseller for an exchange as most resellers will have at least a 15 day return window. If that isn't an option I would contact ASUS right away to see if they have had a common issue like this and if they have a fix. I have not heard a problem like this reported a lot, but that doesn't mean it isn't common.

I would also update the BIOS, and reset it to defaults, as possible garbage in the CMOS can cause such issues, or been addressed in the update.

Yes reset the CMOS to user defaults. If the problem continues, run memtest86+ since it could be bad RAM among other hardware issues.
