Hello, can this laptop's GPU and CPU be replaced and upgraded?

No. Asus doesn't like people inside their computers, it's obvious if you ever try get to get inside.

The GPU is on a custom type PCB so is very likely not going to have a compatible replacement, the CPU is soldered.

Get a a Sager/Clevo, MSI, or Alienware laptop if you want a truly customization experience. Asus laptops are about as locked down as they come. They make some of the most basic maintenance tasks difficult and time consuming.

Asus are a great choice if you don't want to open them up. There a couple of things that can be done depending on model.

You shouldn't have to pull the entire thing apart for routine cleaning, they're well built though. Guess it's really consumer dependant, I'd rather go with something easier to maintain.

Routing cleaning would be fine with a plastic pick to stop the fan from rotating and a can of compressed air every 6-12 months :)

My GT60-16F3 i think is a little bit older than your nb. I know my nb is with the same batch as with Asus G74/75... To cut the long story short I've upgraded my gpu from Nvidia 670M->680M->970M.. Oh and my cpu is upgradeable too... I dont like asus because I've had a bad experience with them. black out asus g74sx and eepad Transformer after a year.
