After finding a combination of hotkeys to work with iTunes, I'm finding that the back and forward buttons on my mouse do not work with iTunes to skip the songs.

I know forward/back buttons on mice work on previous computers to skip iTunes when the window is active but I can't remember if it had ever worked on my new G73JW.

I've been using iTunesControl and the AsusNBKeys to get the media buttons to NOT work with windows media center (thank god!) but I can't figure out if this added functionality had removed my mouse's side buttons from skipping songs.

Anyone else get the Asus mouse and were able to get it to work in iTunes? Does the Asus mouse have a suite software that can be used to further configure the mouse? A quick glance did not show it but I may have been overlooking the install if it's out there.

    I have a better suggestion.

Use Foobar. Foobar is 100% more customizable, and better than iTunes.

I am not the only one who believes, iTunes for Windows is quite possible the worst piece of software out there.

This is how my Foobar looks and it can be customized infinite different ways. Also having it sound better is a great perk also!
