I have problem with Thermal Throttling on this laptop. When i play online games like Apex Legends or PUBG, CPU temperature raises to 86-87 degrees celsius. But Thermal Throttling start at 85 degrees celsius i checked it with Intel XTU. When that happens performance drop happen too, and the game is lagging and becomes unplayable.
Is there any way to solve this problem? Or any way to lower temp below 85c while gaming? Will the cooling pad would be helpful?

What you need to do is undervolt and repaste. I have this laptop with Core i7 7700HQ and I use 0,110V undervolt (via Intel XTU).
I also re-pasted with IC Diamond.

The result is that while it occasionally still hits 85*C (no you can't change that limit) it only happens for a few seconds and resulting thermal throttling is minor - CPU clock always stays above 3GHz, so while it's not solved as such I got it to the point where it doesn't matter.
