Thank you! I just got my ASUS G75VW from Best Buy today. Bought it from the Clearance Center for $750, and had to wait for a system to be shipped to my local store. It arrived brand new, and started up fine, but I really want Windows 7 as I'm more comfortable with it, it runs all the apps I need, and without a touch screen... I just don't see the point of Windows 8.

Downloaded this tool, showed up in English, and worked like a champ. Created the recovery partition to my 32GB USB stick, then had it save the drivers out to the USB stick as well. And to be sure it should work, I booted the system from the USB stick and made sure it prompted me to overwrite the hard drive. Even gives you the option to overwrite system files without destroying data files if you wanna try to get Windows running without wiping EVERYTHING on the drive. Good stuff.

So yeah, thanks for sharing the utility. Can't wait to get my Samsung 500GB SSD, put that in as the primary drive, and install Windows 7 64-bit on there. Then once I get the drivers loaded, etc... should be in EXCELLENT shape!!! :)
