Hey there folks. I currently own an Asus g73sw
I have few quick questions about the audio.

1-) How can I see if I am using Eax 5.0 or regular audio drivers while gaming?
2-) What is Creative alchemy for?
3-) How can I boost bass?
4-) Some people in the past mentioned installing creative drivers and boosting the bass resulted steam to freeze all the time. Is this still the case or is this issue updated via software update?

    Thank you/

Personally I'd remove any Creative software from the system, since it doesn't have Creative hardware. (I don't think there are any notebooks with Creative hardware, save for using an external device, I suppose.)

The Creative stuff has nothing to do with hardware. It's not a driver.
