    I am buying a new screen to go along with my new video card. I went through the LCD guide BUT as I was looking around I saw a v5. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with it, is it better then the v4?

    I have the V5, works/looks great. Can't tell you whether it is better than v4. I changed it myself a month or so ago when my original screen died. Perfect.

    You can search this forum and the sager one. You'll find some praise for V5 which convinced me to buy this one.

    what is the major difference between V.4 vs V.5? Besides the fact that 4 is glossy and 5 is matte.

    V5 is truly outstanding. It is the only matte that beats glossy for me. I miss it.

    At first I missed the glossy because my previous screen was truly beautiful. But I was getting so many reflexions that I'd get headaches. Then the glossy died and I went for the V5.

    The V5 is beautiful and well balanced. I can no longer shave by looking into my G73JH but I really like the mate screen.

    Why my Lord???
    My screen after put my 5850 and use it a bit started to show the images like this:
    A lot of green pixels and when I force it very much I can see a perfect image
    So sad....
