    Hey folks.

Well, I know people have upgraded their G73 screens. I've heard good things about LG 1920x1080 and the AUO 1920x1080. I've also heard good things about the Hannstar panel, except that the backlight bleed on newer versions is kinda high.

Can anyone recommend a good screen with the same or higher contrast ratio as the Hannstar (1000:1)? What would be the best overall?

I replaced mine with he LG matte.. and so far.. im like it.. not sure bout the contrast ratio... but viewing angel is perfect... I upgraded from a AUO 16x9... so if you are too, you'll like it for sure... on backlight bleeding... I cant even notice any backlight bleeding when its all in black... try to search for a thread here on changing screen.. and I put some screen pics there...

on brightness.. the AUO 16x9 for me has better brightness... but its decent enough for me... tried to put it on maximum... didnt like it coz its too much for me.. so the brightness of LG matte is not problem... you'll be able to adjust it on how much brightness you want...

Was your previous AUO screen 900p or the 1080? I just want to know if your 900p Was brighter than the new LG you have now.
