I flashed my vBios so I could upgrade my drivers, and during the install of 11.3 I got a BSOD. Then it restarted, and now my resolution won't even go up to 1600x900 and CCC won't even open.

    What do I do?

Always read the last few posts on this glorious site as there is a post about 11.3 Drivers which others have had the same issue.

I had exactly the same problem. This is what I did to fix it:

It took me a few attempts.

    1. Uninstall the CCC software using the control panel uninstall option.
    2. Right click computer - properties - device manager and uninstall the 5870 driver. (tick remove drivers software also)
    3. Run drive sweeper/cleaner from Guru 3D (safe mode is recommended but I didnt bother) and clear out all remaining ATI files.
    4. Restart. When it restarts it will say installing driver automatically. Once complete go back to device manager and it should be Standard VGA controller/driver if not go back to 1 and try again.
    5. Download and install the new driver (Changing the driver location seemed to work for me I dunno why but this was my problem it didnt like the normal program files folder - could be my G73 it has a mind of its own) and once installed it should give you the option to restart and that should do it.

Well, I just ran the installer again and unticked something about Windows Media Player or something and it worked....so whatever, I'm not gonna mess with something that isn't broken, lol.

Thanks anyway, if I run into anymore hiccups I'll be sure to follow that advice.
