    Hi all.

I've owned an Asus G74 for the past 8 or 9 months now.
Not so long after I got the notebook I discovered a slight backlight bleed coming from the bottom of the screen, but at that time I thought it was so little, that it wouldn't anoy me. Now it's getting worse, and it's like the tiny backligt bleed on the bottom is starting to move from right to left on the bottom of my screen. I live i Denmark and my notebook is still under warranty. But few months ago i accidentally scratched the screen a bit. I've got one medium sized scratch and 2 small (almost not visible) scratches on the middle of the screen. So my question is, if you guys thinks that the warranty still covers although I have scratched the screen a bit?

I'm not sure how Asus handles RMAs in Denmark, but I think you would get away with RMAing a scratched screen in North America. That said, I'm not sure you could RMA simply for backlight bleed. They may accept your request, but I can almost guarantee they won't fix the issue. Backlight bleed is normal on these laptops, unfortunately, and Asus can't/won't usually fix it.
