    HI guys,

I just got my steam download of AC Brotherhood. First time I booted it up...performance was CRAP. I mean seriously...terrible. Very laggy...i.e., when maxed out...with AA 4x. IIRC there is one mention in the 11.4 preview drivers thread about this..but I got it fixed.

Here's how... Uninstall 11.4 that were modded desktop drivers. Note...when I uninstalled the previously used 11.2, I used driver cleaner and even my CC showed driver version 11.4.

So similar to that, I uninstalled 11.4 and everything it came with and went back to 11.2. WOW!! Everything is back to buttery smooth. Just how well AC2 ran and looks a lot better.

AC: Brotherhood maxed runs very smooth for me using 10.11 drivers. I was actually just about to install the preview 11.4's...kinda hesitant now.

Ohh.. i've read in some posts (probably not here lol) that their pc's have gone bonkers when they used ccleaner because of it deleting some important files. :p

well that's weird. :p haven't tried installing 11.2 and gave a.c:b a go. and it worked! smoothly! tried it on other games too. but just cause 2 still has grainy shadows in movie scenes. :p

    installed 11.2
started a new game, seemed to work fine. but tadaa! movie scene. it hangs and closes.
says something like amd display did not respond, but successfully recovered. :|

I don't know. I just downloaded the 11.4 preview from the guru3d link. The modded desktop drivers. For some reason perf was exactly like that video you linked earlier in the driver thread.

BTW..u guys getting this haze issue?

BTW....for someone up here who mentioned ccleaner. You need to use driver sweeper from phyxion.net. You can download it at guru3d. Never caused any problems for me.

Hmm...I might have to give RC2 a try. Or I'll just keep these 11.2 until the 11.4 get released. I prefer the smoother game and suffer an annoying haze any day.

I have the same thing in this same scene. maybe it's just that way? in other parts of the game mine's not hazy at all. sometimes it is, sometimes it's not. :p
