    Battery/AC keeps switching

    Hello

    This is my problem. My battery mode and AC mode keeps switching. On the screen I constantly see Battery mode/AC mod
    and the battery light on the laptop keeps turnin on and off

    Whats the problem and how can I fix it?

    I tried this thing: when my battery light was off (though battery was in the laptop) I removed AC cable and was expecting that my G73 would shut off because he doesnt see the battery, but to my surprise still running, though battery light is dead. So Im guessing my computer doesnt see the battery, but it works.

    Im on G73JH-A2

    Try remove the battery, and see if the computer can run with AC without losing power suddenly. If its fine then maybe the problem is in the battery.

    It seems the battery wears out fast on G73, mine already lost at least half the capacity. Maybe because of the heat and high output power put too much stress on this battery.

    It works without the battery, right until I decide to play something. I start a game and laptop just shuts off

    Sounds like your AC adapter is failing. Time for a new one.
