    Hey guys,
I've seen that the posted battery life of the G73JH is ~1-2 hours. Can anyone tell me how long it would go if only a word processor like Microsoft Word was open and nothing but typing was being done? Thanks in advance.

It really depends on how you tweak the notebook. Run it on full power, your only going to get slightly over an hour, maybe less. Run at the bare minimum meaning cpu at about 25%, gpu down clocked to 100/300, display to the lowest and u might get about 2 - 3 hours.

With the factory image (I seemed to get worse battery life on a clean install???), the battery monitor says I can get about 2 hours (everything off/minimum except for wifi).
