Has anyone benchmarked there G73 before and after the GSOD Vbios fix, just wondering if the Vbios changes the performance using the same Catalyst driver? just recieved my G73 it has the stock Cat driver and Vbios tested it in 3DMARK 2006 and it hit over 13400. latest cat would not run gave GSOD so restored the driver back to stock.

I have the new vbios.....my games work perfect now because of it....I would always get GSOD with any other drivers besides stock...and for me my games seem to run better....im using the latest mobility drivers from AMD and I have not had a single GSOD since I did the vbios....witch is very easy to do... :)....all the best!

Hmmmm well I benchmarked the stock Driver and Vbios and Got 13400+ then I updated the Vbios and then I got 13278 which is a small reduction using stock drivers, I then Installed Cat 10.10 and got 13279 so very little difference in performance from the stock driver to the latest driver, this is with a 740Q@ 1.73GHZ no overclocking of any component involved here.
