Best Buy G73JHs available again?

So I checked on their website for store availability and it looks like they're in stores again. Is there any news about this that relates to the next asus laptops coming out? Its kind of odd that they would take it out for a month or so then bring it back

 

You are correct. They are in stock at a few stores now.

But for how long...?

 

I don't think it was so much as they "took it out", as in they couldn't get any.

I was speaking with one of their store managers who happens to be a friend, and this is pretty much what he told me. They just didn't have any, and were waiting for a shipment.

 

The Best Buy site looks the same as it did when I mentioned this a couple of days ago.

 

Great, now people can go out and see why AUO screens sux.

 

Micro Center put them on the discontinued list. Some stores have a few, but once they are gone there, they will get no more

In that case, one can only hope that edandrea has a Best Buy with inventory.

 

really? i got the auo screen.. is it possible to return mine.. but its already more than a month. can i still change it and tell them cause it suxs??

 

Well... one chap claimed his AUO screen was great. Very bright, wonderful contrast but just bad viewing angles (which he dismissed as irrelevant since most folks use it looking straight at it).

So if yours is a great AUO you have no reason to borrow trouble.

Actually, yes. It's a nice screen except the viewing angles.. its brighter than my other laptops..

 

I don't know about this because our two stores here in hawaii have been out of stock for weeks now and now they are in stock so trust me they never had any to begin with recently

 

I'd like to have an excuse to go shopping in Hawaii
