As of last night I seen BB had their G73JHRF-RBBX05 for sale online for 829.00 I went to bed not feeling like fumbling for my credit card in the middle of the night. When I awoke they were sold out! I called up BB online and asked if they had any left or were going to get any in restock and was told that they will no longer be selling that particular model and that the price i saw was for a final sale. Here is the link, not sure if you'll be able to view some have had trouble (friends i've shown)

if that doesnt work you can try here and scroll down to find it. It is listed as being a "NEW" item.

Not too surprising. The JW was essentially a "replacement" for the JH.

What caught my eye is that they were being sold at 829.00 usd. Along with 90 days parts labor from BB (does anyone know details of this warranty?), not sure if that 90 parts labor is better than neweggs 90 days LIMITED parts labor or not. Kind of bummed out that i missed it at that price.

    $829 is a good price...but of course that doesn't include tax (?) and s&h.

I bought my G73 rbbx05 from newegg here ( Newegg.com - Recertified: ASUS G Series G73JH-RBBX05 NoteBook Intel Core i7 720QM(1.60GHz) 17.3" 6GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870) back in Nov when it only sold for $860. I paid about $880 total due to s&h. They have since caught on that this item becomes sold out as quickly as it is available, and have since raised the price almost $100 more than what best buy is selling it for now....

I can guarantee you though that newegg has them in stock more often that BB.

yea, November is when i started researching to buy a laptop and seen newegg had them at a sub 900.00 price. Now they are 919.00. Now that I have about a 1200.00 budget i'm trying to make sure that I get the best possible bang for my buck so i'm constantly trying to find a better laptop than the lower end g73's. Not sure if I should wait for the g74 or not or if something better will come around in the next month. I plan to buy within 2-4 weeks if i can't find a deal on the marketplace//classifieds//craigslist
