    Hello

I am planning torder my G73 in May from one of these filtered online resellers. My address is overseas outside the US.

    Shall it be
    1-excaliberpc.com
    2- Provantage.com
3-powernotebooks.com (won't ship globally unless all the local U.S orders are fulfilled )

P.S: GenTech and Xotic don't ship worldwide; not where am currenly located at least.

All of the above have very similar prices and shipping costs. Am not in a hurry as far as shipping goes. I would like buyers from these stores to share their exeperiences and recommend the best one in terms of customer service, commitment, RMA service...

    Thanks

Forum rules prevent users from being bias like that... Mods get mad when we do... Your best bet is to have them PM you with there experience of likes and dislikes if they have any...

I do not know of any rule that prevents a user from making a recommendation. If so there are a lot of rule breakers.

The resellers themselves have a large list of rules they have to follow.

Anyways, I have always recommended GentechPC, those that have followed my lead always came back with nothing but great things to say. Ken who is the Gentech rep on these forums is like customer service in its purest and finest form.

I have got things from Provantage before, its a good solid store but its just a "store" to me there is no real interaction. It would be like buying it from walmart or best buy.

hmmm I remember a while back when the G73 first started making waves with its annoucements and stuff... could be wrong though, I applogize if I am.

I also bough my laptop through GentechPC and have had nothing but glorious hours of gaming on here from just simple windows games, to Dragons Age and beyond.... Ken has always answered PM's with utmost professionalism, and always within a timely manner..

Best answer would be to talk to the resellers themselves... alot of times ive seen both Xotic and Gentech in numerous cases when this first went on sale and started shipping that they would make exceptions to help meet the customers needs... Try sending them a PM and see.. wont hurt..

Have you tried contacting GenTechPC? IRCC, they do ship internationally even if the option isn't listed on their website. I'm not certain, but it never hurts to ask.

    Xoticpc also ships internationally.
Since op tells us both gentech and xoticpc does not, i assume he's already asked them. Maybe they have some restrictions to certain countries?

my problem with Xotic PC is that they do ship to my location (sorry for the op) but the cost is way high, above $300. whereas it is no more than $150 for th eother retailers. Plus their payment options for international orders are a bit complicated. No credit allowed and it has to be either bank wiring or paypal e-check. thats why i eliminated Xotic.

anyone can give me the link for the Gentech person on this forum please so i would contact him for the shipping rates, if they actually do ship it globally.

Ken Lee's, (from GenTechPC), NBR Forum member username is also GenTechPC. You should probably consider contacting them directly. Lastly BTO Tech, ( Geared2Play on the NBR Forums), is an online Asus reseller with a very good reputation, (I've bought 3 from them over the years, the last one being a customized G73Jh). They also customize Asus laptops, and ship laptops internationally. You can contact them directly or, check out their FAQ, here, as it states the requirements for international purchases.

    Good Luck..

i tried BTO and the site never accepted my zip/postal code. I tried all possible numbers and formats. it only accepted my zip code in the US but am not there right now. so i filtered my options to the 3 resellers in the OP.

I'm new to these forums, but decided to place my order for my G73JH-A2 from www.portableone.com. I've chatted with Scott from there multiple times and they seem to have excellent reviews and appear to have good customer service. They said they would contact me before the next shipment arrives to let me know when to expect my computer.

I'm not sure if they ship outside of the United States, but just figured I'd share my experience so far.
