    There are is "best" SSD, however, the Samsung 830, Intel 320 and Crucial M4 have all proven to be reliable compared to Sandforce driven SSDs.

    EDIT: I'm not the OP, first post was empty, but the title is pretty self-explanatory.

    Any idea when this is going to be fixed? See so many of these posts now. Keep checking on the technical thread but there are about 15 pages of it now and still no ETA on a fix :/

    Well, things seem to be returning back to normal now, you can expect an official announcement once everything has been fixed and the tech team confirms it.

    Well that is a very easy decision. Neither.

    Stick with Intel or Crucial. Currently you cannot go wrong with the Crucial M4 128GB SATA III it is the best bang for buck.

    Your G73JH will only be able to run at SATA II speeds but if you intend to keep the SSD it is worth getting a SATA III.

    uhmmm theres a problem, locally those are the only 2 ssd that fits my budget and can be baught locally. I'm from the philippines so i cannot order from amazon because the shipping would be expensive and i'm tight on my budget.

    Well, that is always something worth mentioning as location can have a great effect on what we can recommend or not. There is no M4/C400, Samsung 830 or Intel 320 at a reasonable price near you or at online shops in the philippines or another drive not using a Sandforce controller for that matter?

    If i had to choose between those two, i'd pick the Corsair because OCZ has rather poor customer support.

    @scampupy

    I'm from the Philippines also. Thankfully, my brother is coming back from vacation from the U.S. in a few days so I got to order the Crucial m4 128gb in newegg/amazon.

    THIS is for you!
