    Hey there.

    I just got battlefield 3 home. I ain't an expert on getting the best FPS out of games, so I would like to know what other G74 owners who owns Battlefield 3 uses as there graphical settings.

    The auto settings which the game comes up with is to demanding for the laptop, right?

    So could you please post your BF3 settings? :)

    Oh, my laptop is running with the 3gb version of 560m, with 8gb of ram and the i7 2630qm.

    Best setting would be to keep Textures to Ultra. Everything else set to high.

    I like to play with 720p resolution and set the AA Post Process to high = FXAA (Nvidia AA post processing method) with AF = 16.

    This gives great framerate while keeping everything looking fine.

    Now if you don't mind having framerate around 30-40, you can go with 1080p and just disable AA with the same settings in the first line.

    Here's my settings

    I try to tweak them for hours , to see which options give a frame boost or not.

    This is how i play the game , cause i want it to be smooth. I don't care of having a game playing on High with unbareable framerate.

    With a bit of overclock and thoses settings , the game is really smooth , and far from being ulgy.
