    so i checked EVERY bestbuy within 100 miles around the area where i live at and theres none to be found in stock. where the heck are they? one lady i talked to said they got the laptop back ordered.

    Apparently, they are canceling the Best Buy G73 to pave the way for the supposed G73JW later this year, although I'm not sure if the info is all that credible.

    the shelf life is until 6/19/10. I'm pretty sure asus will not pump out anymore considering they already announced the new one.

    From what I have read, its is the same as a JH except for a nvidia 480 video card and a 3d ready screen.

    To me, that seems like a big deal. The 5870 is marginally faster than the 280m but the new 480 is suppose to be a killer.

    g73jh-rbbx09 - nope, doesn't work for me. meh

    Basically you're out of luck picking one up in-store since they've all been gobbled up. The new g73jw sounds like it will be more expensive than the g73jh, but we shall see.

    Yeah the Asus G73JH is discontinued at Best Buy. I work there in the computer department and it is deleted off our system. Even the floor models are gone.

    But on a side note I did get my other one we previously spoke about ahead of schedule. I'll have to get a review up soon with pics. I think I'm really feelin the 5870's in crossfire(especially in Crysis Warhead) and the fx lighting.
    I had no idea how well these things are contructed.

    The G73 definetely feels portable compared to the M17x.

    Both are great PC's in their own right.

    I have no idea. Were going to get all new machines for all laptops and desktops. Sometimes we get a random shipment of G73JHs along with some G60s. I have to work today and I can see if it is back on our system.
