I got mine in the mail and it was bent up like a pretzel. Bent and warped. Not damaged in shipping either. Looks like they took it out of a palm rest as they are held in with plastic blobs. Now they expect me to pay $25.00 to ship it back to get a $35.00 refund. Sheesh.

Take pictures and ask for a refund directly without having to ship it back. Tell them that Logic Dictates that paying $25 shipping for a $35 refund is you getting a $10 refund and it's better to just claim a loss on it.

And please keep in mind that ALIEXPRESS isn't the company who shipped it. Aliexpress is basically a chinese ebay with an english storefront. Since chinese sellers know that most foreigners can't read chinese, they make english storefronts and sell it via aliexpress and banggood, rather than directly on taobao. There are good and bad sellers on aliexpress.

Your comment is basically the same thing as saying "avoid ebay keyboards." There are good and bad sellers on ebay and taobao. It's just easier because of pure English accessibility to research ebay sellers rather than Aliexpress.

the keyboard is held by plastic rivets. It should be a plastic rod which you melt.

Does your keyboard look like it was pulled from another unit?

I've ordered a laptop keyboard before, and it arrived bent, but I was able to bend it back, since the backing is flexible.

Well what it appears to me is they got ahold of a bunch of palmrests with keyboards and they removed the keyboards and are selling them seperaatly.

I was working on a laptop once and the keyboard fascinated me because it was flexible. I only flexed it a bit and after I reinstalled it the enter key never worked again. Amazing how important you find out the enter key is once it no longer functions. The Aliexpress keyboard I got was so bent and twisted and warped I wouldnt even try to install it.

I took a settlent with them so i could move on. If anyone wants to buy this keyboard for parts i would let it go cheap.
