So I noticed that my temps are getting hotter even at idle. Usually had pretty good temps 58-62 on idle. Probably time for repaste I think. Eeek.

But yeah back to the subject. My bios was updated to 211 a couple weeks back, but I noticed that the fan was still bumping up to 100% at 95 degres. Wasnt that ment to change with the 211 bios?

How do I go about repasting? Not keen to do it myself, do I need to RMA? Or can the computer store I purchased from do it for me do you think??

    Thanks in advance.

211 has a lower "maximum capacity peak"

If it's a decent store they'll help you with getting an RMA number, and if you have a nearby Asus service center you can just drop by them, the job itself shouldn't take more than an hour, preferably with your own high quality paste.
Good Luck and keep us posted

oh and if it is a ****** store....you'll have to contact Asus directly to get a service number, and the whole nine yards

Which temp are you looking at? If youre looking at the MemIO or Shader temps, those arent the ones that affect fan speeds, but MemIO is the temp that HWMonitor shows if thats what your looking at. The core temp is which matters for fan settings - when that reaches 78/79C it goes to full blast. Use HWInfo to see all temps and you should notice that when core reaches that temp it will work as its supposed to. Seams you have a much hotter MemIO, probably becouse of a bad pads application or poor heatsink pressure on those spots.

My G73 with bios 211 and last vBios final have about 67/68º in idle.
On gaming (just tested Crysis and Stafcraft 2 ) have 95/96º.

    Are normal this temps??

How can I do for reduce this temps??

    (sorry my bad english)

Only way to lower temps is to redo the thermal paste on the GPU.
