    Blank Screen after Booting

    So I finally figured it out the ploblem of my asus . But I tried some of the instructions online but none of them worked . I wanted to replace my motherboard but now its holiday time so none of the shops are available . Having my holiday without my asus fixed cause me pain . Please help me if you guys have some useful helps .

    Just saying you have a blank screen after booting doesn't give much insight into the problem. What were you doing prior to the blank screen, did you change anything recently (hardware, driver wise, etc.).

    After booting, I tried to play some games and it worked but after turning it on again the next day I got a blank screen . That's all I have . I found some of the other topic talking about this ploblem and some guides how to fix it but they didnt work for me . So I need yours .

    your going to have to explain in further detail.

    Does it show the asus logo on the screen initial boot? or are you saying that screen doesn't have any backlite to it? you should explain if it goes thorough the boot sequence or not. It more sounds like magnetic sleep switch problem.

    The Screen didnt appear anything besided black . But the other lights such as keyboards were perfectly fine .

    Thats how my GPU died on my JH but that cant be the case with a stock 5870m.

    Also might try to remove the RAM sticks (keep 1 in) as if something is wrong with them it will not boot too.
