    Blue Screen on random start up

    I just got a G73JW but from day one on random start up I am having a blue screen issues.
    I have the computer from less an week and I already did the second recovery system and today the blue screen show up. Any ideas or comments.

    These are my specs and below are the shots of the blue screens
    ASUS G73JW-XT1
    i7-740QM
    17.3" FHD (1920*1080)
    nVidia GTX 460M 1.5G GDDR5
    HD 500G 7200RPM
    8G DDR3 (2*4 / 1333)
    WIN 7 HP

    Or try downloading whocrashed. That application will tell you what caused your recent bsod's.

    Yeah or use bluescreenview to check your minidump.

    Hard to diagnose with just the stop code... try removing the trend micro antivirus or whatever it is that shipped with the PC.

    It BSODs at random at the Windows 7 loading screen or after you boot into Windows 7? I would try memtest86 and also make sure you're running on AHCI in BIOS. One last thing I can think of is installing the latest drivers for Intel 5 Chipset and Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Possibly audio drivers too.

    I second removing Trend Micro. I've done a lot of laptop setups from factory states, and TM is normally the culprit for system crashes.
