I have a copy of Bluesoleil and when I installed it on the ASUS G73JH-A1 it just farted and did nothing.

I'm not asking for support for the Bluesoleil program by any means, just curious if any G73JH owner has used it successfully before.

    Cheers, Ted.

I've tried it before, it didn't work out too well. What are you using it for anyway? There is already Bluetooth support for most devices on Win7

I have it working... sort of.

When I installed Bluesoleil I had no bluetooth in my device manager so it kept failing to start/find my bluetooth hardware.

So I went to install the original G73 drivers again and right away soon as I started to install them the bluesoleil software found my hardware and it started to work, however by the end of the install the G73 software took over and the Bluesoleil failed to work again.

I tried to install stock drivers again and then manually change the driver to the bluesoleil driver via the have disk method in the device manager but it said it does not have a compatible 64bit driver or something like that.

I manually added my VID and PID codes to the Bluesoleil .inf file and that didnt seem to fix it.

Seems the G73 has some kind of software drive hardware detection making it hard to work with, and the newer versions of bluesoleil are more picky about hardware. I have had older versions working before if my memory recalls properly.

The newest versions of bluesoleil are not marked as windows 7 64bit compatible, but I know the older version was. They have been adding a ton of little features for phones and stuff that most people probably do not care about and I guess the introduction of these new features made the newer versions lose x64 certification.

Im not going to mess with it for now as the stock drivers are working fine for me for what I am using and also I got my Playstation 3 Dualshock 3 controller working via bluetooth and it uses its own bluetooth driver as well.
