    Hello Hello Hello,

New Member and new Owner of the G73 - I purchased the dumbed down version of the G73 - Curtosy of BestBuy - In any case, I did so because, being a test engineer for another notebook manufacturer I would be able to do a lot of upgrades "for free" with various parts I have laying around the test lab.

One of the things that I intend to upgrade is the Bluetooth -

Does anyone have any information regarding the bluetooth device used in the G73? Is it a mini-card? Who is the card manufacturer? Is it built into the Wireless Card? Does it get plugged in below the wireless card?
I only briefly glanced at the available slot so I am trying to get a little more information before I start trying different cards - assume that I should be able to just plug in any bluetooth mini-card, but would rather have a little bit more information before I do such...

Any help and/or input would be highly appreciated~~~~
    Thanks In Advance..

    In Him...

The BT connection is on the lower right corner, along the bottom, of the motherboard. It's a 3-wire connection, and it's made by Azureware. You need to disassemble the top and keyboard to get at it.

    Hello Chastity,

Thanks so much for your reply!!! - Definitely appreciated- I was hoping that the connection would be near the wireless card (mini) connector. I may just stick with my External Bluetooth device at the moment, don't want to tear my newly purchased baby down just yet.. Already upgraded he RAM and HDD. Probably a bit over kill for my current use, but since I replaced my desktop of 4 years, I expect this one to give me a similar life. I realize there are some paste issues and such, that I will eventually have to focus on, but right now, she's all good..

    Thanks again for your reply!!!

    In Christ,
