I was just confronted with a BT problem hopefully I can get some help from the Guru's here.

Today I noticed that my Bluetooth icon was missing so I went ahead and typed Bluetooh in the search bar and found the icon I go ahead and hoover the mouse over it to click it to my surprise it did not open up. I went ahead and tried a hot fix from windows Bluetooth devices do not work correctly on a computer that is running Windows 7

That didn't work so i went to the uninstall program's and went ahead and uninstalled the drivers 3 in all two were from Microsoft updates and the other from the install Asus cd.

I removed the driver's then grabbed the Bluetooth link from Kalim's thread. Went ahead and tried installing the drivers and i get a pop up at the end of the install No Bluetooth device was detected. Please make sure Bluetooth device is plugged in properly in order to continue.

Has anyone experienced this problem? If so what can be the cause and solution.

This is normal, bluetooth however still works fine. What are you trying to do? If you're trying to connect a device, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Add a Device, activate bluetooth on your device and it will be discovered. For file transfer: Start > Search Bluetooth > Bluetooth File Transfer. Hope this helps.

I sent it out for a RMA to cali this time I believe there is more to it then just the bluetooth. I was having random black screen shut downs after sending it the first time to Jefforsonville. I never had my icon not be there so your saying it's normal I deleted the driver and then when I went to reinstall them it stated that device was not connected? I highly doubt that is a normal issue. but anyways my unit has been sent back for another RMA let see how good these people at cali are lol.
