how can i get the overclock work automaticaly whenever the windows starts ? is it possible ? it is really annoying to start it each time and do it ....
i also cannot get over 1.89ghz .........
-
ok nevermind i deleted setfsb i find it useless to get 50mhz extra over the power4gear overclocking, plus i cannot even get it to start with windows, i just wasted $10 .............................. but was worth trying ...

Its Quad core benefits over TT maybe minor, but it should have a good lead over single/dual no?
-
i would give you my CODE but he told me to not give it to the public

Expert dont give up so easily and research these things before throwing them in the bin I spent hours understanding SetFSB and you need to put some time and effort into getting it to work properly. I cover most aspects in my sig link and its very straight forward if you use it correctly.
You can have it running at start very simply however the clocks will still reset if you just use a task scheduler if you intend to have the clocks loading at startup you must first make sure they are stable and test them.
Here is a link that explains how to get SetFSB to begin at startup. -
I think everyone should post their SetFSB license codes and drive that con artist out of his business.

I noticed if you enter your old activation code after reformat the program basically asks for another 800JPY and really makes the intelligence of that popup being there make it look like he knows less about English than he really does. He will eventually stop e-mailing you activation codes if you reformat until he says he will give another 'one' free of charge.

You know the answer to these problems gents. 920XM.

yeh i watched your video before me buying the setfsb program, and i find it really easy and nice thing to do, but for me i cannot get over 158ppl or whatever you call it, or else i will have an instant BSOD and it ends up by my laptop restarting ..... so i was like ok F it i dont want to do it anymore

some cant go that high due to limitations because of the voltage/multipliers being locked. Sometimes it has a lot to do with the RAM as well i found i could achieve different overclocks by having different amounts of RAM in different slots. All very random.
-
so you think the reason why i cant get it to overclock more is because i have 12gb of ram ? and i am using all the 4 slots ? 2x 2gb 2x 4gb XD

I decided to test the retail version of SetFSB, and discovered it works no better than the free version with G73GoneWild.
161 / 1.916 GHz seems to be my stable OC with 8 thread load.
I see now why posting keys is pointless, since each key is tied to the SID + hw ID of the pc, so there is no benefit of posting the Key I "deduced".Anyways, the public PLL and free edition works just as well, so it's moot.
-
Wait... What? So the "G73" version that he wants 10 bucks for is a scam? -
pretty much... the file is on XoticPC's forum
Overclocking NP8662 - XOTICPC Forums
Go to post 7, and you'll need to be registered to d/l.
Extract and put the .pll file into the directory folder for SetFSB Free Edition. You can then load the .PLL and it should say G73GoneWild.
On a side note, my little 720QM JH scored P9542 with BCLK 160 / TurboBoost 1.9GHz + 850/1100 5870M
Bought SETFSB how to make it run when windows starts ?
