    I bought a replacement AC adapter off ebay since my old was was damaged, it's much smaller than my original one. Is that ok? I think it might be affecting my gaming performance / causing lag, although I'm not certain the adapter is the cause...

    My original Asus adapter's voltage was;
    Input: 100-240V~2.0A 50/60Hz
    Output: 19V ---- 6.32A

    The replacement adapter, which is much smaller and lighter is;
    Input: 100-240V~1.8A 50/60Hz
    Output: 19V ------ 3.42A

    I am not using my battery, it hasn't been working for awhile.. it doesn't charge, I need to replace it as well.

    It's not OK. That AC adapter is only 65W. You'll want something at least 120W or 150W. Your original AC adapter is 120W.
