Sounds like a setting on the TV. Can you connect a different computer/laptop to the panasonic to see if that works?

Edit: NVM re-read your original troubleshooting.

Driver updates failed to fix it too, hmm.

    i also did this :
1-i've tried 3 diffrent hdmi cables (not working)
2-tried to uninstall reinstall nvidia driver now iam on the last ver 280 (not working)
3-tried to swetch modes from (fn)+(f8)dual mode, hdmi mode and from the nividia controll i tried making the pansonic primary main display (not working)
4-install new windows 7 64bit ver also (not working)
5-tried all hdmi ports on the panasonic (not working)
6-updated the panasonic firmware to the latest (not working)

and here is some facts :
1-all three hdmi cables working fine on the same panasonic tv when iam using my old toshiba gpu 310m
2- i tried to connect the asus via vga cable to the pansoinc and it worked so the problem only in hdmi connection

the werid thing is that i tried my asus gpu(560m) on a sony lcd 40in and it worked fine so i guess the hdmi port is fine (but work on some tv and some not working)becouse it also didnt work on 32in sony lcd which werid!

Maybe the Panasonic prefers a different Colorspace/Digital Color Format setting. If it's set to RGB, try YCbCr444. Also, are you connecting directly to the TV, or through an AV Receiver?

Also, BIOS 202 is out, so go grab it.

It could be your TV doesn't like the port + cable combo. I get my cables from monoprice and haven't had any issues.

According to your 2nd pic, the 2nd display is disabled. Try enabling it. :)

Hi there, I also have G74SX and yesterday faced the same problem. I invited a few friends and we wanted to watch movies on a big screen, but HDMI just didn't work. The TV (Panasonic) was detected properly and I could change resolution and refresh rates and everything, but the screen would just remain black. And the friends have come already and I was thinking how to make my PS3 play the movies from the laptop. Anyway, after several hours of googling (that's how I've come across this thread) and struggling I remembered that back at the beginning of 90s some VGA cables would not work with certain video cards and monitors unless connected in a certain way: one end of the cable must be plugged in into a monitor and the other - to the video card, and it just didn't work vice versa, no idea why. So I tried this trick, and guess what? It worked with HDMI in 2011! I'm totally lost as to WHY on Earth this should happen, but anyway, I'm glad the evening was not ruined. Hope this works in your case too.
