Hello everyone. I would like that my first post here was about something different, but things happen ...

As the title says, i bricked my note with a BIOS update. No warrant, or a technical support from ASUS. I've read ASUS forum, so i already tried the "battery+power button"combination and Ctrl+Home keys.
Now i think my only way out of this is reflashing the BIOS chip, but for that i need the complete ROM file, and the technical support that i sent don't have this file. From what i have read in some posts, like this one (http://forum.notebookreview.com/asu.../656498-g74sx-circuit-reprogram-bios-spi.html), i can read the bricked image from chip and merge with the one from web site. But if my chip has a full brick, this will be useless.

So if anyone have the full ROM file for G75VW and can send me, i'll be really gratefull.

    Thanks for everything.
Obs: if someone know who sells it, please let me know. I'll be gratefull too.

The full ROM file is available to the techs at Asus' repair facilities. You'd have to send it in, or send it to an ASP.

But i can't send. They aren't accepting notebook out of warrant (don't know why).

You can see if you can purchase either a EEPROM (if it's removable on that model) or getting a new motherboard. Brazil's Service area was always a bit painful to deal with, so I feel your pain on the matter.

Not yet. I can't find the file.
If i can't find until next week, i'll try to buy a Bus Pirate, read the contents of my bricked BIOS and reconstruct it.

You already tried the Ctrl+Home combination ?
There's a batch that a guy here in forum created for reviving a G73. Try it, maybe it works for you. I haven't tested yet because i don't have the note now.
