Greetings Everyone!
Recently I have been having some BSOD issues~ such as IRQL OR NOT EQUAL OR LESS, or Memory Management. So after countless hrs of searching google, I ran several test to see if it was a RAM problem or a driver problem as some people have suggested. I ran the verification driver test for around a good two hrs and computer did not crash. I also updated all my drivers, and updated my BIOS to see if that would solve the problem however not of these techniques managed to work. After all the hassling, I decided to run a MEM86+ test to rule out some possible bad RAM, after 7 hrs+. I believe it is a RAM issue with around 1000+ errors during Test/Pass 5. However, before I decide to order new RAM I was wondering if anyone would be able to look @ my dump files to possibly see if it is not a RAM issue, but maybe something else? If it is an RAM issue, would any good users suggests some good RAM to order?
The computer is Asus G73JH.
Thanks!

You should eliminate which sticks of ram are causing the issue. Start with just one stick of ram, test it for 3 passes, turn off the laptop, remove the stick of ram and replace it with a different stick. This way you can figure out what stick of ram is at fault if any. You should be able to duplicate your memory error this way. If this doesn't duplicate the memory error test each ram slot.
You should be able to use your computer with just one stick of ram, it might be a little slower but you shouldn't get bsod errors anymore. -
I actually tried to do that however, the computer just turns on and stays black without ASUS screen loading or windows loading at all.

So you're saying it doesn't post with just one stick of ram in? Have you tried different sticks in different memory slots?
Usually if it doesn't post with known good memory then you either don't have the memory correctly seated or the controller for that particular memory slot is bad. I would guess you didn't have it seated correctly.
You want to push the memory in the slot then wiggle up and down and then finally lock it into place.
Try it and see if you can get the computer to post with just one memory stick. -
With ASUSG73JH, their are 4 RAM cards, the 4th one is actually on the other side of the motherboard so when I take out the first 3, the last one is still in there and wont start etc.

Can you remove them all and make sure only 1 is installed? Or if you can't get the system to post with just one try only 2 at a time. Usually if the computer won't post like that then the ram is bad. There's definitely a way to test it one at a time. Try to run just one stick in the memory slot on the top of the board.

If it is out of warranty, and you want to attempt this yourself, then definitely reseat that particular module first and if the unit will POST, then run memtest on it to see if you still get errors. If not, then add ONE additional module, run memtest again and watch for errors. Rinse and repeat, one module at a time, until either everything is back together with no errors or you find which module is defective so you can replace it. -
Put a memory module in the slot closest to the motherboard where you have the three slots and try again, the laptop should post. -
It could be a stick of RAM.
Personally for me I've found out that I just have a bad RAM slot. Which blows, i'm not really sure how to do anything about that other than get a new motherboard.
Initially I ordered 2 sticks of 4GB ram to have 8GB (my comps release amount was 4GB so i was upgrading woot woot! haha).
The issue got better but was not fully resolved, and memtest wasn't helping me after i got the new RAM sticks, it said everything was peachy keen. Eventually i just pulled one of the sticks out and said screw it just to test it. I fortunately (fingers crossed) haven't had a blue screen since. It sucks that I'm back down to 4GB of ram, but its definitely manageable. I would rather have 4GB with no crashes compared to 8GB with completely random crashes.
I think I had both a bad stick of RAM (since memtest went crazy before i bought the replacements) and I also had a bad slot. Screw you Asus!
Aside from that my laptop has been phenominal.
Bsod!!!
