As everyone knows, this game just game out.

It looks fun as hell and I'm tempted to pick it up.

I have three options, either on PC, 360, or PS3.

My preference would be PC, but I'm not sure how the G73 would handle this game.

Has anyone had a chance to try this yet? I was hoping Quagmire would have a video, but not yet.

It's built on the Unreal 3 engine and U3 runs beautifully on the G73. However, Unreal 3 is older and Bulletstorm likely has several more bells and whistles.

    Anyone try it yet?

I already play this game at the highest settings and resolution 1920 * 1080 the average frame rate of 35-40, the frequency of video 700/1000.
But the game sometimes slows down, need a patch to fix these bugs.

    Recommended: QuadCore 2.0 GHz
    You Have: 1.7 GHz

*shrugs* you folks be the judge

Game runs awesome in the JH. I just can say is jumping when the game loads map and textures, I mean, you will notice when the texture streaming is working. This is because, as you can read in other forums, it's a damn console port. When it's not loading, the game runs smooth at almost 60fps stable at 1080p, everything maxed out with no AA.

Sysreq is garbage, by the way. I ran it on two older laptops I had - both had 512mb of video memory, but one was a 9600 and the other an 9800gtx ... same score for video.

    It's terrible.

Runs smoothly on my G73JW, about 30-35fps with all high setting no AA in wide open areas, 40-60 inside a building or cave. AAx4 drops the fps down to 24-30 in wide open areas. Sometimes sudden lags (1-2 sec) might occur after a while of playing.

    CPU: i7 740QM 1.73 - 2.93 (Quad core) (1.85GHz in TwinTurbo mode)
    GPU: GTX460M 1.5GB at stock clock (Core: 675/Shader: 1350/Memory: 1250)
    GPU driver: 266.58
Hard drive: Intel X25-M SSD 160GB

    It's playable.

The 2.6GHz one only has 2 cores and performance wise is slower than an i7 740QM (1.73GHz Quad)

only played through the first level so far but would like to confirm thatir runs smooth on the MR5870 too
FullHD, all settings set to high, no AA - runs smooth, 30+fps all the way though

any type of AA activated, MLAA or normal, causes it to jerk a bit with 20-30fps

    I have 2,24ghz on my 4 cores (i7 740QM) :p
But i think when the said Quadcore 2ghz, its about Intel core 2 quad !! Our i7 are better than Core 2 !!!

Do you guys know what the intel boost technology does? Jesus, when all 4 cores are being used in one application it will run at 1.6ghz, when a game/application only utilizes one core the processor will make it so that one core that is in use is at 2.8ghz. Do some research.

This is the 720qm specs btw.

Just wondering is you experienced stuttering when texture stream or dialogue start. For reduce to the minimum I moved the installation to my ssd. Still with the issue but way better. For the rest, the game is impressive!!!!
