I'm so tempted to buy a G73JW right now. My old notebook still works but it is impossible to play any slightly demanding games on it because the fan is dead. I really want to get back into PC gaming, but I don't want to spend money on a G73JW only to find it outdated in january with the release of Sandy Bridge processors.

What would you guys do, buy now or wait?

    Thanks.

I was in your situation a little while ago but I decided to wait it out until the new SB and AMD cards come out. If you were to order right now, you probably won't get it until a week or two later. If you absolutely need it right now than go for it, but I know if I order it and then hear about the improvements of the new series of gaming netbooks coming out, I would feel upset that I couldn't wait.

Yes I know that they won't be out exactly in the beginning of January, but just knowing what their capable of and what I'm getting will make me happy that I decided to hold off on the current G73s

Any word on the possibility of Asus releasing a gaming notebook with the SB combined with switchable+discrete graphics, like MSI's new GT and GX680 notebooks?
