    Hi y'all,

Just wondering...have any of you bought the ASUS G73JW (or G73JH-B1) in Singapore? If yes, then where? I know its being sold in a few places but the prices are outrageous! They are charging like almost 3500 SGD while getting it from States would only cost like 2500 SGD at best (including shipping)

As such, I was wondering if someone has any experience buying/importing a laptop here in Singapore...and if yes, what was the import duty you had to pay? If I have to pay like 1000 SGD in taxes then getting it is basically pointless...the whole benefit of these models is that they pack tons of functions at a relatively low price and if I'm paying 3000+ bucks then its def. not low price anymore lol

So yeah, just looking for some advice as to how I should approach trying to get the laptop...

p.s. I know I can buy through sites like Mucro.Asia but everywhere I keep reading that I should much rather buy from say GenTech than Mucro - I can understand if its for better service...but for me, the customs + import taxes is much more crucial (as great as Ken is I'm sure)...so yeah, please do let me know in this regard too if you know anything about it

    Cheers!
