Hello, I'm new here on the forums

First of all I am very glad to join here since I found so many information about tech and stuffs. So here it is I'm thinking about buying the ASUS G73JW but I got some expenses and I fall short on my budget, I do some searching and found some nice refurb G73JH, I usually don't consider do buy a refurb since i got short Thats is a great deal. I found some Seller like tigerdirect, amazon and BTOtech. Which one of those should i choose?? I think BTOtech is fine with me coz i read a lot of good feedback about them. Can they fix and reflash the VBIOS, GSOD, Or any kind of testing? If not so what should I expect when I got the laptop?

Any kind of help and feedback will be a great help. Thanks for reading!

When I received my refurb G73jh from BTOtech, it was already flashed with the latest Bios and vBios. I highly recommend getting the refurb from BTOtech because they offer a lot more customization options such as thermal paste testing, thermal repaste, cpu and memory upgrade, and warranty extension. My refurb has been working great with zero issues.

A lot of users here have good feedback on G73JH refurbs. Just try to read threads relating to refurbs so that you can get an idea on what reliable store to buy from. BTOTech and Tigerdirect have good reputation AFAIK. They sell refurbs as much as 50% discount or more.

I wouldn't think twice about buying a refurbished g73jh, mine was exchanged and i got a new one becouse i had a problem with the psod's. The computer went back to the saturn shop.I bought it in germay and at the time i didn't know about the vbios update and aperently the shop employs did't also so they said that they can give me the money back, the notebook was sold out, but i decided to wait for service.2 weeks later i got the computer back run the furmark instant shutdown. They swaped the graphic card but did a poor job with the termal paste.I went back and swiched the notebook with a new one that they just received the same day. I want to say that before the poor paste job the computer worked fine, the furmark max temp was 95 degrades c without repaste, the new one works also fine without repaste but i have a cooling pad, so with a good reseler you won't have any problems, most of computers returned to shop have the saime problem i had.If i ware you i would buy a refurbished g73jh without thinking too much
