I have an Asus G51VX-X3A. I've recently had issues with the laptop's internal speakers not working. After weeks of troubleshooting with different drivers, trying to unjam the headphone jack to get Windows to recognize the switch between speakers/headphones, I ended up bringing the laptop to a local PC tech shop.

They looked at it, and said that the jack was jammed, and ended up taking it out, highly suggesting replacing the I/O board to get the headphones/speakers functional again. The part number is 60-NV3IO1000-C01. They've quoted it at $89 from their store they found it at. Were there any other places to buy these Asus specific parts to try to find it cheaper?

A simple a Google search brings back $192, but that's just weird. Suggestions?

The common options are the asus estore, asusparts, or ebay. If you can even find that board, paying under $100 for it is probably a decent price. Good luck!
