    I've been looking to get ahold of this and I saw the XR1 submodel at Micro Center a couple of weeks back.

    I went back to purchase it but it's gone, and the one of the "knowledge experts" told me that they had no more of them and Asus was discontinuing that model and the A1.

    Can anyone enlighten me?
    and/or tell me when the next make will be released

    They're probably just out of stock, as I seriously don't think the JW would be discontinued so fast and doubt they're only gonna be stocking -3DE from now on.

    The JH-A series was discontinued for the -B1 series when intel refreshed the i7s. No surprise that asus will shortly be pushing sandybridge. *shrugs*

    No they aren't discontinuing the JW they're discontinuing the XR1 and A1, or they did and are releasing a newer submodel.
