Runs great. All max settings @ 1920x1080 and x2 AA. Mostly steady 85-90FPS using MSI afterburner to check. It dips into the 70's occasionally but the game runs super smooth.

Are you running this on update 1?
If your screen is blurry, you are actually running on low quality textures.
Because my G73SW only runs 35-40 fps. Everything Maxed out.

But MW2 in an new package ;) At least multiplayer shooters should run smooth also on older systems, for example BF3 has so high requirements that a lot of people I know can't even play it on lowest details (e.g a i5 NB with GT320 graphics). That (and Origin) might be a reason why the BF3 servers are often quite empty and the CoD servers filled.

I'm quite satisfied with both games, I generally like the feeling of CoD more but miss bigger maps and vehicles.

Exactly that ^ It looks no different plays no different I am glad I didn't waste my money. Even though the addicts will make sure it buys out more than BF3.

BF3 owns MW3 in every single way not because its a better game, because its actually different to BC2.

I know the game is running in native resolution. The game is not blurry at all. If there was an update, it's running that due to Steam updating automatically. I have all texture setings set to "Extra". For me, the game runs even better than MW2.

I wouldn't consider this game a waste of money because it is actually a lot of fun. The dedicated server option is great. I like to play on the tactical crouch servers, and this allows for this. I hope there is an update that allows dedicated servers to be ranked.

I have both BF3 and MW3. Gameplay on both games is entirely different so you really can't compare the two. I know there are COD and BF3 fan boys, I guess i'm in the middle. I really enjoy both games.

Yeah, BF3 is worse than BC2. ;) That's just my opinion though. I stopped playing BF3 after a week and went back to BC2. Never looked back. Nowhere near as fun as BC2 let alone BF2 or even 1943. Sometimes different isn't always better, besides it's not even THAT different. It's pretty much BC2 with a shinier coat of paint, a crappier unlock system, worst maps and lots of unnecessary crap thrown in (I love those flashlights /sarcasm) and of course, Jets. It tries to be BF2 and BC2 and it also tries to appeal to the CODheads to get more sales but it fails on all counts. I hate that game, so disappointed.

At least COD is consistent and it just tweaks the formula and add new weapons, maps, modes, balancing and other stuff. There's nothing wrong with that, the formula is good and fun and should stay that way. For me Pre-BF3 Battlefield games>>>>COD games>>>>>BF3.

Just a BF3 hater, Dallers sir. I love all the other Battlefield games and I think they all blow COD away...except BF3. But yeah, I'm just being a curmudgeon. As a diehard Battlefield fan I'm a little bitter over BF3.

As for the XM, Skyrim looks to be really CPU heavy so I was considering getting one because of that game. Console port syndrome going on there sadly.

Worth every penny just for Skyrim people are trying to hate it but even if it is a console port you cannot take anything away from it just by poor UI, and as the game has the best modders around working on it within a month that will be changed anyway. I just wish the inventory was more interesting and had an apparel preview.

Still 5/5 10/10 and worthy of it, there is more than 6 months of gaming right there.

Add an XM and the JH does very well.

Make sure you look into the image quality option, select "native" instead of "Extra", and you will notice some fps drop because "extra" isn't running on Full HD 1980 x 1080, while "native" is.

I don't think a lot of people notice this, and they think the game is running even smoother than MW2.

My G73SW only runs 40-50 fps after the first patch. 285.79 beta driver.

Ah... now I see what your saying. I was assuming Extra was the highest settings. I set it to Native. and it made a significant difference. It looks even more amazing now. One downfall is the FPS did drop, but I'm getting steady 50-70 fps. I did have my AA set to x4, so I changed it to x2 and it still looks great and runs smooth.

Yeah, didn't notice this at all.

First thing I popped into my mind was - game runs pretty smoothly at everything maxed and 4xAA, but man, do these textures look blurry. Had to drop AA but left everything cranked up after setting it to native, but now looks even better.

I can run it also on Full HD, Max Details (Native mode) but once I enable AA the FPS drops to 30-40 on some areas. I have shadows enabled because they can be sometimes quite useful in multiplayer mode ;)

    Which driver are you using?
