Guys, I really have enough of this. I tried all the possible (I guess) reconfigurations of my G73JH - gpu drivers, flashing bios and vbios and I have applied to hundreds of different advices, but with no use. All the Call of Duty games, including Modern Warfare 1 [sic!] (doesn't matter, MW 2 or 3, Black Ops) are getting like 30-40 FPS and playing is a pain in the . The rest of the games I have are working smoothly - e.g. Assassin's Creed (all of them), Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 2 even on high resolutions. I would really do something in return if anyone would find a reason, why the CoD engine is so hated by my laptop. I bought this notebook especially to play Call of Duty, but even on specs like 800x600 it is a nightmare! I had sent the laptop to the seller, they changed the thermal pads or something, but it didn't change a thing. I mean, is there any logical explanation for that to happen? I went through hundreds of different threads on different forums, but I never found even a smallest clue why this might be happening. Call of Duty 2 works normally, but c'mon. Any advise would be very welcomed.

search for you config_mp.cfg file,
search for
seta r_drawWater "1", set 1 to 0
then search for
seta com_maxfps "125"
Set it to 125 for Cod4, 0 for mw2, 0/125 for black ops (not will run above 75 at costant anyway under windows 7) don't know for mw3.
try those and then let me know.
Also, no v synch and no AA, smoke is a pain in those game, or it's only for me? when smoke appears CoD4 runs way less FPS than MW2, that's just crazy (from 125 to 77, even worse with AA on).
Also:
Older Drivers like 10.4, 10.8, 10.1, works better with cod, specially black ops, they give you like 30% boost, I know because I was in ESL, so I had to run the smoothest driver possible, and I tested everything with fraps on, I reported this in the past as well, but I got unbelieved lots of time.
Latest Driver, I would say someone in between 11.11 and 12.2 got some decent performance, still lower than older ones, but better than 11.1-11.10.
Going to test 12.6 asap
