How do you like this laptop? Are there any serious known issues with it? I am trying to decide between this and a lenovo y500 with gt650 sli for gaming. I checked them both out today at a retailer and came away a lot more impressed with the Asus build quality. However, its once gtx 660 doesn's stack up against the gt650 in sli. I know the y500 has some serious touch pad problems, so I am leaning toward the Asus at the moment. Please give me your impressions of this laptop. It is mostly for gaming of course, but I am not really into FPS (first person shooters) so, I don't have to have the absolute best framerates anyway.

I own a G55VW and love it. The screen is a little darker/coloring is different then I am used to and it makes some games look darker, but otherwise I absolutely love the G55VW. Its a little bigger then a standard 15" and a little thicker too, so if you're going to be taking it everywhere that is something you'll want to think about. But just for the fact of microstutter I would not touch the lenevo. Yes you may get more performance out of 2 GT 650m's, but you'll also get microstutter. Its worse for some people then others, but when it happens it is super annoying and hard to get rid of.
The sound is a little weird in the way the placed the speakers but I use headphones so for me there is little thought placed on speakers. The touchpad has always worked great for me, the keyboard is very nice, the case is well put together and has a nice feel, the laptop stays cool and temps have never been a problem for me.
Honestly I would sacrifice performance for one graphics card vs having to deal with two cards working together. But it all depends on how you feel about it. If you've experienced micro stutter you know how annoying it is, if you haven't, check some videos on youtube.
