    Can i use newest drivers for G73Jh from other laptops ?

    Hi, Can u tell me if i can use the newest drivers belong to other laptops ?

    Like Asus Splendid has different profiles that are in the COLORTABLE folder in every version there are others.

    That means it is good to use it or to use the default ?

    Is it best to use the default drivers for 73JH ? what about windows 8 drivers ?

    ATK, splendid shoud be usable, stick to P4G 1.1.17 though.

    ok,, just i searched so much and i don't know why there are so many versions, why to use P4G this version and not hybrid ?

    I don't remember where i find the explanation for every program of asus like

    ATK_Hotkey
    ATK_Package
    P4G

    Do you might have the site or link for the guide that explain what exactly each do ? - found it http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/380681-asus-utility-bloatware-guide.html

    Will it be enough just to install ATK_Package cause it has all of them in one ? ATK_Hotkey, KeyFilter , ATK_media

    ATK_Package is all of the ATK utilities in one, since late 2009 or early 2010, ATK_Drv, ATH_OSD2 and ATK_Hotkey have been integrated into one package. P4G is power4gear hybrid and it has been called that for a very long time now as well.

    P4G Hybrid is tailored to the CPU you have (somewhat), I noticed that some things didn't work properly with versions for more recent G series notebooks while 1.1.17 (the latest for the G73Jh, I think) works flawlessly on the Jh. I also noticed that the version for the first gen core i didn't play nice with Core 2 Duos.
