    Nope. No mSATA slot in the G73JH. It'll take regular 2.5" drives just fine though.

    You can find Samsung 840 Evo SSD which are some of the most popular right now.

    As octiceps mentioned there are no mSATA slots in the G73.

    Do they sell an optical drive to HDD/SSD conversion kit? I have heard USB 2 has enough bandwith to support a usb blu ray player.
