    Hey all.

I've been trying to install "Nvidia driver 275,33" for GTX560M.

But everytime I start the download it says "Can't find supported products".

Why the hell is it saying that?

Can someone please give me some help here :)

    I am on 268,37.

Yes I tried unistalling the existing driver, but it didn't work. I've also tried installing the new driver on top of the existing, but nothing works.

No, I'm getting the driver for Nvidias page.

It's because Asus's 560's are not in nVidia's inf file yet.

If you go here: v275.33 Windows 7/Vista 64bit | NVIDIA Mobile OEM - LaptopVideo2Go Forums

You'll see both a link to the driver download and a link to the inf file. Download both. Extract the driver package, and put the inf file you downloaded inside of the display.driver folder, overwriting the existing file if prompted to do so. The driver will then install.

    Thanks!

Should I uninstall the old driver before I do this?

I also had the same problem of not being able to install the 275.33 drivers as the G74 was not recognized as being a compatible notebook or whatever with GeForce.

I wasn't reluctant to use LaptopVideo2Go drivers just because, well really no good reason, I just prefer drivers off the official website.

Anyway I installed the Verde Beta drivers, which was 280.somethingsomething, can't remember and they work just fine.

I'm a bit of a noob at this.

But is it safe enough to install beta drivers? And should I uninstall the existing driver before installing the new one?

Yea, it's usually pretty safe to install beta drivers, you just might end up losing some performance for certain games. Not sure if beta drivers have ever actually blown up a laptop.

I also re-ran 3DMark11 and Vantage as well as FUrmark for about an hour to make sure everything was in order. It wasi.

And yes, you should definitely uninstall your previous drivers before installing new ones. I use Driver Sweeper to make sure everything's clean before I install new drivers.

I did as suggested to update the drivers too with the official ones and the inf on that page, and now there is a small white square in the middle of the desktop screen.

Edit: Apparently the small white box is actually a desktop icon for the Asus Live Update program... and somehow it gets borked in the driver update..
